When considering your fence, first ask yourself what is the key purpose. If you want to keep people on a walking path, consider a Kinkakuji, Koetsu, or Rioanji-gaki Style Fence. When planning on a larger fence, you might want to keep the open feeling of your yard. So base your design around a tall Tepo-gaki for it's strong yet open feeling or a beautiful Otsu-gaki fence. For zero percent opacity you would opt for a Kenninji or a Misu-gaki
