Tajonal is a native plant of the Yucatan which grows straight and has a great chocolate color and interesting texture. The poles are about little finger size. We weave Tajonal blinds with black woven nylon cord. It rolls up nicely. The shades are delivered with hardware for roll up. It is varnished with a UV resistant polyurethane. They can also be used for wall covering, panel inserts, fencing, shade screens overhead, and other exciting decorating applications.
