FAQ - about wall coverings

Like bricks, these are designed to go up on any flat wall or ceiling material using industrial adhesive (such as Liquid Nail TM) or baseboard cement. They are sanded, dyed, and sealed.

The colors are: brown, mahogany, and natural. they require no maintenance and give a beautiful textured look. They can be provided without finish, but sanded ready for any color or finish you wish to apply.

The bricks are 15" long, 1-3/8" wide. Machined on 5 sides and sanded on the sixth (outside). Thickness varies between 1/2" and 1 1/2" with the natural contours of the bamboo.

Bamboo Brick Coloration

Fencer Says: The photo show the colors we stock. You may, of course, make the wall a solid color or mix them if you wish. Since these bamboo pieces are nearly solid, they are very easy to glue to a wall. They leave almost no visible space between blocks. They miter at corners nicely. To eliminate any look of space between the bricks it is advised that you paint the surface to approximately match the brick color before applying the Bamboo Bricks.
Bamboo Brick Calculations

Fencer Says: These very thick walled bamboo blocks are 15" long, 1-3/8" wide, with a thickness that varies from about 0.5" to 1.5". To determine how many you need, divide the area in square feet (length times width) by 0.143 sq. ft. (area for one brick). The bricks weigh 0.375 pounds per brick.
