Can I clean rolled fencing that got moldy while in storage?

I recommend as follows: unroll the reed and lay on sidewalk or
driveway; use laundry soap or detergent and 5% by volume of bleach;
wash with a soft brush such as those used to wash autos. Do both sides and rinse. Let dry in the sun.


I do not recommend varnish, but do recommend one of the deck sealers like Cabots, Cuprinol, or Thompson's. It goes on easy. Coverage is good.
