How can the original color of my bamboo fence be preserved?

A good product to apply is Cabot's Australian Timber Oil. It comes in clear, natural, mahogany, and perhaps other colors. Other good stains are Cabot's clear UV resistant stain, Cuprinol, and lastly Thompson's water seal. Depending on your local climate, you may have to repeat the application yearly.
