Tonkin bamboo poles are some of our most popular items. We take care to offer you a large selection of diameters and lengths, so they arrive at your door ready and sized for your bamboo project. These thin-walled poles are harvested in China, polished with river sand, giving them an understated eggshell patina, and dried naturally. They're strong and light and our customers have used them for everything from supporting tomato plants to the martial arts. Customers are reminded that because bamboo poles are a natural product, they all taper. Poles are measured for diameter at their wider end, between the first and second nodes. Please note that individual poles now require a minimum order of four.
